Our firm traces its roots to the late 1970’s, when Kernersville native Joseph M. Coltrane, Jr. began practicing law in his hometown. In 2007, Joe Coltrane and Jason T. Grubbs joined practices and moved into our current location, the Stuart Motor Building, a Kernersville landmark. Since our inception, we have, and continue to be, a general practice, full-service law firm focused on meeting our clients’ varied legal needs. More than a decade later, Coltrane Grubbs Orenstein still adheres to the idea that the best way to serve our clients is to develop lasting relationships with them.
While other firms and lawyers have come and gone, our firm has been a steady, consistent presence in the Kernersville community. As we have grown, we have extended to our reach to nearby communities such as Walkertown, Oak Ridge, Colfax, and Stokesdale. Many of our clients who live in these areas appreciate our client-focused approach to solving legal problems.
Our attorneys are very active community and civic affairs. We’ve been blessed to call Kernersville home, and feel a duty to help our community be a great place to live, work and do business. In 2016, Coltrane Grubbs Orenstein was recognized with the Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award for our service to the Kernersville community.
